If you are a business using the platform
Option 1: Disconnect your WhatsApp number
- Sign in and open Settings.
- In the WhatsApp connection card, choose Disconnect.
- Our access token for your number is revoked and deleted immediately. Your stored conversation data for that number is deleted or anonymised within 30 days.
Option 2: Close your account completely
Email admin@digilistan.com from your registered email address with the subject "Close my account". We verify the request, close the account, and delete or anonymise your account data, contacts, templates and conversation history within 30 days. We confirm by email when it is done. Records we must keep for legal, tax or security reasons are retained only for as long as required and then deleted.
If you connected through Facebook
If you remove the Digilistan app from your Facebook account (Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites → remove), Facebook automatically sends us a data deletion request. Our system:
- Verifies Facebook's signed request.
- Records it and returns a confirmation code and a status link to Facebook.
- Completes the deletion of the data linked to that connection within 30 days.
You can check the status of such a request at any time using the confirmation code Facebook shows you, on the status link provided with it.
If you are a customer of a business on the platform
Your messages with a business are controlled by that business. To have them deleted, contact the business directly on WhatsApp and ask for deletion. If the business does not act, write to admin@digilistan.com naming the business and your phone number; we will pass the request to the business and, where the business has left the platform, delete the data from our systems within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Account profile data (name, email) — deleted or anonymised.
- WhatsApp connection tokens — revoked and deleted immediately on disconnect.
- Contacts, conversations, message history, templates and campaign records belonging to the account.
- Backups containing the data age out within a further 30 days.
